Hindi is not merely a medium of communication; it is an integral part of our culture, thoughts, and work environment. With this spirit, C-DAC Patna organised the valedictory ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada 2026 on September 28th, 2026.
The programme was chaired by Shri Abhinav Dixit, Centre Head, C-DAC Patna, and graced by the presence of Prof. Kalanath Mishra, Former Head, Postgraduate Department of Hindi, A.N. College, Patna. As part of the programme, Prof. Mishra conducted an insightful session on “The Contemporary Relevance of Hindi and its Application in Official Communication,” highlighting the evolving role of Hindi and the importance of clear, accessible, and effective language in the workplace.
As part of Hindi Pakhwada 2026, several creative competitions were organised with enthusiastic participation from C-DAC Patna employees. This included Hindi translation and typing, email writing, poetry composition, picture-b asedstory writing, Hindi vocabulary, and extempore speech. The competitions provided participants with opportunities to demonstrate their language proficiency, creativity, writing abilities, and communication skills.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the release of 'Samprati', C-DAC Patna's Hindi magazine. The magazine serves as a platform for showcasing institutional activities, experiences, technical and creative contributions, and the collective commitment towards promoting Hindi.
During the ceremony, winners of the various competitions were felicitated with prizes and certificates. Appreciation certificates were also presented to the contributors and members of the editorial committee in recognition of their valuable efforts in bringing out 'Samprati'.
Hindi Pakhwada 2026 was not limited to competitions and celebrations; it also reinforced the importance of encouraging the regular, effective, and meaningful use of Hindi in day-to-day official work.
Promoting, practising, and preserving Hindi remains an integral part of C-DAC Patna's continued commitment to the language and its development.
