C-DAC, Mumbai, welcomed the Hon'ble Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Shri Jitin Prasada, on May13th, 2026. Shri Aditya Kumar Sinha,Executive Director, C-DAC Mumbai, extended a warm welcome to the Hon'ble Minister on behalf of C-DAC Mumbai.

The visit commenced with a detailed briefing on key research and development initiatives undertaken by C-DAC Mumbai, including Blockchain, Aadhaar Data Vault, Census, OLABS, SAFAL, AI, and Maritime Projects, etc. The presentations were delivered by senior officials, highlighting indigenous technology development efforts aimed at strengthening C-DAC's scientific and technological capabilities.

During the visit, Shri Jitin Prasada launched "SATYA AURA," a smart browser-based accessibility solution designed to make websites accessible and user-friendly for end users. The solution caters to individuals with visual, cognitive, motor, auditory, neurological, and age-related accessibility needs, including senior citizens.

An MoU was also exchanged between the Centre of Data for Public Good (CDPG), Foundation for Science Innovation and Development (FSID), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and C-DAC, Mumbai. The collaboration aims to promote cooperation in the areas of Sovereign AI Infrastructure, Trusted AI-As-A-Service, Interoperability & Open Standards, and Policy & Accountability Frameworks.The MoU was exchanged between Shri Aditya Kumar Sinha and Shri Jyotirmoy Dutta, Director (Geospatial) and Principal Scientist at CDPG, FSID-IISc Bengaluru, in the presence of the Hon'ble Union Minister of State, Shri Jitin Prasada.

Addressing the gathering, the minister lauded the contributions of C-DAC and its scientists in supporting national priorities through indigenous solutions, advanced research, and technology-driven innovation. He emphasized that C-DAC should continue to adopt a futurtist approach and remain prepared for emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Technologies, and Blockchain, highlighting the immense talent and expertise available within the organization.
