MoU with MahaIT at TechMahaImpacT 2026

C-DAC Mumbai signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation Limited (MahaIT) on May 20th, 2026, during TechMahaImpacT 2026 – Maharashtra’s Premier CSR Conclave held at Mumbai.

The MoU aims to foster collaboration, facilitating dialogue, knowledge exchange, and joint exploration of innovative initiatives. The partnership will leverage MahaIT’s extensive experience in implementing digital governance initiatives and C-DAC’s expertise in advanced computing and emerging technologies.

The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of the Hon'ble Maharashtra CM Shri Devendra Fadanvis, Deputy CM Smt Sunetra Pawar, IT Minister ShriAshish Shelar, and Maharashtra Chief Secretary, Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS.

The MoU was formally signed by Shri Aditya Kumar Sinha, Executive Director, C-DAC Mumbai, and Shri Bhagwan Patil, Chief Operating Officer, MahaIT.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr Padmaja Joshi, ScientistG&Head Products, Services and Outreach, C-DAC Corporate,and Dr Kapil Kant Kamal, ScientistF, C-DAC Mumbai.

The collaboration will explore initiatives in digital governance platforms, emerging technologies, AI, blockchain, cloud ecosystems, education, agriculture, digital authentication systems, quantum computing, mobile computing, citizen-centric digital services, innovation ecosystems, and capacity-building programs.

The MoU marks an important step towards strengthening digital transformation initiatives and promoting technology-driven governance solutions for the state of Maharashtra.
